It's been a busy year and I haven't been able to keep up with every photo challenge but this one is easy because I have plenty to contribute :) Here's a few.

This is probably my favorite self-portrait of 2009, from July and taken in the Wood Lake Nature Center in Richfield, Minnesota.

Self-consciously, I call this my Buffy Summers "I'm cookies" pose.

It's an older one, but my favorite self-portrait of the year. I decided to go for the MySpace angle cause I'd just colored my hair. XD

Thanks to [info]braddum for the excellent challenge this month.

Been enjoying the entries. We have a lot of good looking people in this community.

I had difficulty picking one so I included a few other favorites under the cut.

When two best friends marry
that have most everything in common
- life is usually filled with giggles and calm moments.
When these best friends are both writers?
Debates can start up at any random moment in time
about established writers
and who thinks who is brilliant
and who thinks who is an ass.
Needless to say no one wins (it is one opinion against another, after all)
yet since we ARE both writers
- many, many words are tossed about.

Currently I am editing my photos in lightroom, and exporting them as a jpeg "slide".  this is the easiest way for me to watermark my photos, but unfortunately lightroom does not offer a better way.  My question is this.   am i loosing image quality when I export them as a slide in jpeg?  My other editing software is photoshop elements, but I only use it do "fun stuff".  Mostly, I use lightroom.  Thanks in advance for any advice you may have. Ok, Random picture so it's not text only.

PS.  Sorry the file is so huge
